Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

    • All manuscript and supplementary material (e.g., Ethical Approval involving Human or Animal studies) files have been uploaded.

    • All co-author names and their current affiliations have been provided correctly. The sequence of authors has been discussed and agreed upon with the co-authors.

    • One author has been designated as corresponding author.

    • The abstract can be read as stand-alone text and does not exceed 300 words.

    • The manuscript file contains all essential sections (the order can vary): Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, References, Figure Captions, Tables.

    • For systematic reviews and meta-analyses, please see our guidance please check out PRISMA guidelines.

    • Manuscript has been checked for spelling and grammar.

    • All references mentioned in the References list are cited in the text, and vice versa.

    • Artwork source files have been provided at the appropriate size and resolution.

    • Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources including the Web.

Author Guidelines

Online Submission: Authors ensure that papers conform to the scope of the journal. The manuscript should submit via e-mail to editor.inchief.HJP@hamdard.edu.pk or HJP@hamdard.edu.pk

Types of Manuscript

  • Original full length paper
  • Short communication
  • Review articles
  • Case report and Letter to Editor

Manuscript Text

  • Manuscript should be brief, concise and typed in 1.15 line space with 1 inch margins on each side.
  • Manuscript abstract should be in English.
  • Ensure a cover letter mentioning the title and affiliations of author(s).

 
Pages

All pages should be numbered. Abbreviations and authorities of species should be defined the first time that they are used in the article.
 
Organized

Papers may be organized under: Abstract (200-250 words), Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion & conclusion, Acknowledgements and References.
 
Keyword

Given Minimum five keyword
 
Tables

Tables should be titled, self-descriptive and numbered properly.

Figures

To ensure the highest print quality, must be submitted in JPEG format.

Photographs

Should be provided where required in TIFF or JPEG format.

Each Figures, Tables and photographs must be at end of the paper.

Literature

In the text, the literature should be cited in Harvard style reference.
 
Review Process

Each manuscript considered by the chief editor to be appropriate for the Journal is forwarded to the sub editor and allocated to a member of editorial board who will oversee the review process. Articles that are in poor accordance with Journal format, badly written or presented or too long will be returned to the authors without review. Manuscript requiring revision after review process must be returned within two months of the date of the request for revision, after that time it will be treated as new submission.
 
Plagiarism

Anti-Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts should not be plagiarized, if plagiarized material is found more than 18% in the manuscripts, the concerned authors are required to modify the submitted manuscript.
 
Funding

Mention the name of the funding agency.
